Do you keep your records on exposure to toxic substances or harmful physical agents up to date?

OSHA Standards state that you MUST keep exposure records for at least 30 years.

Employers must keep employee medical records for the duration of employment plus 30 years.

If you go out of business you must transfer records to the successor employer or transfer the records to NIOSH.

Records that are not considered to be a medical record or an exposure record do not need to be made available to employees.
